The leaves are starting to turn colors and you may have noticed some on the ground already.
Fall is upon us and it is time to get to cleaning up our landscapes. There are many ways to keep the leaves cleaned up. Typically, people reach for their rakes. Raking leaves can be very time consuming and sometimes labor-intensive. You should try using a leaf blower.
Leaf blowers can take the labor out of piling up your leaves. You can blow them into a pile or onto a tarp.
Most towns or counties have a leave pick-up. This means you can blow your leaves to the curb and they will take care of the rest. However, you do need to make sure you have all the sticks and debris out of the pile, or they will not be able to suck it up with their vacuums.
If you don’t have the time to do this on your own, we can do it for you. B-Sharp Property Maintenance has a fall leave clean up service just for you.
We will come out with our backpack blowers and take care of the leaves for you. We also have a leaf vac truck that we can use to get them completely off your property if you don’t want to wait around for your city’s vac truck.
Also, you can mulch your leaves to try and use them to fertilize your soil. However, this will not make your lawn look the greatest with all the mulched leaves spread around.
When we come out to do a fall clean-up, we can do much more than just clean up the leaves. We will deadhead your flowers for you and can also trim your shrubs or trees.
Fall is also the season to aerate and overseed your lawn. This will help to break up the soil and allow more oxygen and water flow.
