Winter is on its way!

Winter season is almost here are you prepared?

You might want to start thinking about planting for the winter season. You will want to choose plants that can withstand the cold temperatures. Pansies, mums, and foliage plants are the types you will want to look into.

Since you are already out there planting, why not think about planting for the spring season. Now is the time to plant your bulbs for the spring blooming season. Bulbs like crocus, hyacinth, daffodils, and tulips are a good choice; when spring arrives your flower garden will be beautiful!

You can wrap your tree trunks to help prevent bark damage to newly planted trees or think bark trees. When the temperatures dip during the night it causes the sap to freeze which can, in turn, cause the bark to split. Wrapping the bark will help to provide a barrier from the cold temperatures and keep the sap from freezing.
